Taija New Presents: VIRTUAL Open Mic Night is a live TikTok show hosted on by an entertainer for ALL entertainers. The show is not a music review, it is a platform for performers to showcase their talents in front of an audience that is looking for nothing more than to discover new talent, to discover YOU! Each show has a mixture of live performances and audio submissions. There are only 8 slots per show so they are very limited. Submissions open up on Tuesdays and are open until 8 slots are filled or Sunday mornings, whichever comes first. Taija New Presents: VIRTUAL Open Mic Night Mondays is live Mondays at 8:30 PM EST.

Audio submissions are way in which audio files can be submitted in place of a live performance. Performers can submit 2 tracks that we will play live on the show for up to 5 minutes, whichever comes first. Examples of content submissions are music, poetry, spoken word and comedy tracks; just make sure your content appropriate! Those who select this option will not be brought on live but will be required to be present in the live chat at the time we play the submissions so that everyone can interact with you. This is a great option if you cannot go live yet and need to gain a following to do so!

Anyone can select this option! If you are a performer who cannot go live yet, this is a great opportunity to gain more followers to get you closer to being able to go live in the near future. If you are a shy performer this is also a great option as audio submissions are not brought on to go live and instead interact with community through the live chat. We only ask that you be present in the live chat when we play your submission or you will miss your slot. Performers can be singers, dancers, poets, rappers, or comedians; we just ask that performances are appropriate. Remember, slots are extremely limited per show, be sure to secure your slot ASAP!
